Abstract
The project presents a review of existing research on how music and movement affect early childhood development. It will include activities of songs, movement, steady beat, listening, instruments, music centers, and authentic assessments that can be integrated into a home, studio, or school setting. This musical approach offers the early childhood educator and parent, opportunities to enhance children's development in an environment of discovery, engagement, and enjoyment.
