Abstract
This is the ninth interview in a series of 37 interviews with General John W. Vessey. In this interview, Gen. John Vessey discusses the period of 1945 to 1965 in which he is building an Army career in stateside duty stations and Germany. In this interview he specifically discusses the U.S. Army Field Artillery School at Fort Sill in Oklahoma from 1945-1951 and begins to discuss his time in the 4th Infantry Division Artillery in Hanau, Germany from 1951-1954.
