Abstract
This is the seventh interview in a series of 37 interviews with General John W. Vessey. In this interview, Gen. John Vessey continues to discuss his World War II service in the 34th Division Artillery and the Italian Campaign; specifically, battles in Cassino and Anzio, the liberation of Rome, and his battlefield commission at Anzio in May 1944.
