Abstract

This paper is designed to assist Family Educators and facilitators of parent education programs in gaining an understanding of how to increase participant follow through in parent education programs. This paper is designed to assist Family Life Educators and facilitators of parent education programs increase their understanding of how to increase participant follow through in parent education programs. It is my hope that this paper will foster better understanding of participants on not only the part of the educator or facilitator but by also the design of the program itself. This paper shall include a questionnaire that is intended to expand on current educators and facilitators knowledge of this area. By using this questionnaire I am hoping that there will be a better understanding into the reality of lack of follow through in programs.
