Abstract
This project presents a curriculum for primary caregivers and parents who have children who are within the ages of 6-10. The focus of the curriculum is to provide parents and caregivers with accurate and up-to-date information about healthy human sexuality, in order to lower the teen pregnancy rate. It was found that there was very little curriculum available with this focus for parents. Included in the curriculum is information on sexual development, communication, and self-identity in relation to healthy human sexuality. The curriculum is based on the fact that the teen pregnancy rate remains as one of society’s most insidious problems.
