Abstract
This model of collaboration was designed to aid leaders and teams in developing and conducting effective collaboration initiatives. Six areas of emphasis are identified. The project notes specific criteria to be considered when selecting team members, identifying and articulating the concerns or focus of the collaborative, maintaining positive work rapport and balance of power among members, establishing shared vision, goals and objectives, establishing methods of support and monitoring and evaluating process.
