Abstract
This is the study of the workplace needs of adults in school-age care (SAC) programs in North Carolina. Through a literary review and a needs survey, information was gathered to determine unmet needs. This report describes the current status of unmet needs in North Carolina, as defined by SAC professionals, and makes recommendations for further study to meet these needs in an attempt to improve job satisfaction and staff retention.
