Abstract
This project presents a curriculum for early childhood educators who work with children ages birth to five years old. The focus of the curriculum is to give early childhood educators a knowledge base of young children's sexual development to equip them to respond appropriately, partner with parents, and contact proper authorities for assistance when necessary. It was found that there were limited resources and curriculum available on this topic. Included in the curriculum is information on children's physical sexual development, sexual behaviors, training guides, and resources for assistance. The curriculum is based on research and child development practices.
