Abstract
This project presents a workshop for teachers working with young children. The workshop focuses on block play in the classroom and the important developmental benefits that block play promotes. The workshop will present hands-on activities that teachers can implement in their classrooms to promote physical, cognitive, social, and language development. This project also discusses the positive relationship between block play and the development of math and literacy skills.
