Abstract
What adult behaviors are observed when a preschool classroom has achieved a sense of community? Several disciplines are considered in order to ascertain what components of development must be considered in creating a sense of community. Using Head Start program core values and individual program belief statements, the author develops a set of behaviors one should expect to observe in such a classroom.
