Abstract
The theories of Piaget, Vygotsky, John Dewey, coupled with the Reggio Emilia Approach, the Project Approach and Developmentally Appropriate Practice build a solid foundation for Early Childhood science education. This Capstone uses simple and common materials from the child's everyday environment to engage them in science that encourages them to talk, read, and communicate about their personal encounters with their world.
