Abstract
This study examines differences in the staff turnover rate of 76 Air Force school age child care programs and 1332 employees during two time periods - one year prior to national accreditation and one year after. Although the turnover rate was higher in the school age centers in the year after accreditation, this study suggests that the single factor of accreditation is not enough to lower staff turnover without considering other factors.
