Abstract
This capstone project has focused on researching moral development in young children, the importance of family support and guidance in teaching moral development, the role of teachers encouraging moral development, and the use of literature in teaching moral development. Included is a section on the methodology used to share the results of the researching with children, parents, and teachers through the writing and illustrating of a children's book with an emphasis on children following the guidance of their parents.
