Abstract
The scope of this project is to determine how to start a service business with private investigating as the service. One phase of this is to assess the need for this business within the desired market area. Attention will be given to what is needed and involved in starting a small business as well as the type of business. Small business owners will also be consulted as to suggestions on actua11y starting the business and hopefully interviewing some private investigators. The project's success will be accomplished by determining what is involved in the start up and operation of a service business in private investigating.
