Abstract
The purpose of this project was to research various proposals which could decrease the amount of flight attendant sick calls at Northwest Airlines during various holidays. Holidays in this project were designated as Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July Fourth, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving. The possible solutions investigated were schedule restructuring and an enhanced reward system which would increase flight attendant morale and dedication to the company.
