Abstract
The purpose of this project was to recommend a feasible solution to the increasing groundwater contamination in Wabasha County.
Groundwater contamination is a national issue of major concern; however, the researcher chose to concern this project with the problem only on a local level. In order to arrive at a workable solution to the groundwater contamination, certain data was needed. A clear understanding of the overt and underlying causes of contamination in Wabasha County was essential for evaluation of possible solutions. A study of possible solutions was necessary to determine which solution would have the strongest effect. Finally, knowledge of the resources available to the Izaak Walton League for implementation of such a solution was needed.
