Abstract

This is a work of creative nonfiction that details my book journey through the children’s literature section of the Concordia University Library. In seven months I read 77 young adult books, a total of 19,937 pages, and then wrote this work in 77 sections, one for each book. In the sections, I vary my writing between explaining the process of this ambitious project, discussing current events in my life, sharing memories of my childhood that are generated by the books, and commenting on themes, characters, and events in the books.
