Abstract
This proposal is designed to layout some of the problems that exist that may hinder the Port of Portland’s ability to effectively track patients/victims and reunify family members after a large scale incident at the Portland International Airport (PDX). It also includes recommendations that may facilitate the process of implementing a solution. Generally, the task of patient/victim tracking and family reunification is a challenge due to chaotic scene dynamics following an incident (Jui, 2018). The goal is to create a consistent and functional plan that facilitates efficient, accurate, and expedited patient/victim identification to reunify families after an incident.
