Abstract

This project proposed a study that would investigate strategies a director of marketing within college athletics could use to help with fan engagement within a mid-sized Division II University at home basketball games. The method for this study would be a survey given to students to fill out based on their experiences at a Division II basketball game. If conducted, the results of this project would be beneficial for all mid-sized Division II University athletic departments, especially for their marketing plans each year for their basketball team(s).
