Description
Street image of 1080 Bowdoin Avenue (initially 1000 Bowdoin Avenue) where Paula Stuart-Warren lived. Also in this image is Paula Stuart Warren's father, the family dog (Barney, a St. Bernard), and a Cottonwood tree on the corner of her house's lot. The Cottonwood tree was where Paula would sit and read or play dolls with a neighbor who lived two doors to the right. Paula's dad threatened to cut down the tree because Paula was allergic to it, but she wouldn't let him. The city finally cut it down during the 2010's. The house was one of the first built on the street.
