Description
Annual Christmas card photo, circa 1958. This is before my youngest sister was born (1960). I am standing up holding the stocking. Note my awesome saddle shoes. We each had three pair of shoes: saddle shoes for school, patent leather for church, and tennis shoes. Plus boots, of course. My older sister has braids. Pretty much every morning before school, our mom would French braid our hair and put ribbons on the end. The wall behind it was redwood. One of the later owners of the house (after our family sold it in 1987) ripped out the entire redwood wall and brick fireplace.
