Abstract

This paper presents a summary of a professional industry experience given at the Minnesota Twins Organization. The primary goal of the experience was to gain insights and practical knowledge to the establishment and maintenance of a multi-sports complex. The experience surrounds various meeting and activities including facility assessment, development of maintenance protocols, budgeting, staff training, and community engagement, The research project focused on creating a detailed maintenance plan for a sports complex, giving theoretical knowledge, scientific research, and ethical decision-making analysis. Key outcomes include project management, data analysis, and communicating skills which will contribute to future roles in the sports industry. With the acknowledgement of the importance of synthesizing theoretical concepts with practice experiences to achieve professional growth and success in the sports industry.
