Abstract
This Capstone paper examined the Tough Mudder, a 10-12 mile obstacle course that has been gaining popularity over the past five years. The paper evaluated different aspects of the Tough Mudder organization to help determine what has made this event so effective. Specifically, the paper provided an in-depth review of the organization's event, marketing strategies, employee and volunteer management, risk management, risk analysis, and history of the company.
