Abstract
This is the 26th interview in a series of 37 interviews with General John W. Vessey. In this interview, Gen. John Vessey discusses the period of 1982 to 1985 in which he served as the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Specifically, Gen. Vessey continues to discuss the modernization of the U.S. armed forces and weapoms systems and procurement.
