Abstract

Lori Sturdevant was a reporter for the Minneapolis Tribune (Star Tribune) in the mid-to-late 1970s. She covered state government, state agencies and the Minnesota Legislature during the period of debates on the new stadium and its financing. This interview discusses her work at the Minneapolis Tribune as well as the decision to build the Metrodome in Minneapolis, Minnesota and its implications for residents, business owners and the professional sports teams of the metro area.
