Abstract

Jerry Bell worked for the Metropolitan Council in the 1970s. He served as Executive Director of the Metropolitan Sports Facilities Commission (MSFC). In 1987, he became President of the Minnesota Twins. This interview discusses the decision to build the Metrodome in Minneapolis, Minnesota and the implications of this decision for residents, business owners and the professional sports teams of the metro area.
