Abstract
This project will present a summary of information accumulated since the inception of the use of the term emotional intelligence. It will also present a curriculum for preparing preschool children to live life in a more emotionally balanced manner. The proposed literature-based curriculum, offering children choices about whom they want to be inside and how they want to present themselves to society, can be easily integrated into existing programs or adapted by parents for home use.
