Abstract
Educators are under considerable pressure to make sure the children in their care are well prepared to enter Kindergarten. Many times educators share information with families to give additional literacy support at home. This project looks at the information that is shared in consideration of the family's beliefs regarding literacy as well as their personal literacy levels. This capstone creates a project that addresses various components of emergent literacy, including a variety of ways to present them to parents.
