Abstract
Partnering with parents supports Parent Involvement. Home-school and educator-parent relationships lead to positive outcomes for children academically, emotionally and behaviorally. Developmentally Appropriate Practices define dimensions that include Parent Involvement and partnerships with parents that enhance children's development and learning. This capstone highlights literature addressing what educators can do to support a partnership with parents that is beneficial to children. This project also includes materials to be used as a resource in developing workshops for early childhood educators that provide information to be used in their quest to develop ongoing relationships with parents.
