Abstract
Due to the increasing number of culturally diverse children entering the education system, teachers must be prepared to meet their educational needs, as early as in their preschool years. There are opportunities for teachers to learn about multicultural curriculum in universities, self-study programs and community classes. Many teachers who teach preschool aged children have little or no training in multicultural curriculum. A project titled The Multicultural Training Module, was developed to introduce multicultural curriculum to pre-service and experienced teachers without formal multicultural curriculum training. It was developed to help teachers understand basic information about multicultural curriculum and why it is important for the children whom they teach.
