Abstract
In the spring of 1995, the Sheriff’s Department will move into a new office building. As a result of this move, many operational methods will change as the organization adopts to its new surroundings. This project intends to capitalize on this opportunity by introducing an improved Evidence/Property Management System. An improved system will enhance the organization's effectiveness by providing a defined procedure, secure storage, and adequate documentation. Management will benefit by gaining a system that is efficient, observable, and accountable. Ultimately, the public will be better served and their perception of the Sheriff’s Office will be improved.
