Abstract
The professional investment staff (approximately 20 people) at Washington Square Capital, Inc. ("WSC") are not consulting written guidelines and rules, based on agreements made with 23 affiliated and 10 unaffiliated clients, when making investment decisions and commitments for approximately $8.7 billion in assets. The desired results, upon completion of this project, are for the professional investment staff to consult the guidelines and rules set forth in the Investment Agreements prior to placing questionable investments. Consultation of these agreements, prior to investment decisions, will reduce the possibility of errors resulting in potential monetary loss to WSC because of commitments to unauthorized investments.
