Abstract
The purpose of this research project is to develop an effective and efficient orientation plan for new physicians who are hired by the Albert Lea Medical Center - Mayo Health System. The goal of the project is to implement an orientation process for newly hired physicians that will meet their orientation needs and also the needs of the Albert Lea Medical Center - Mayo Health System.
The orientation process lacked an evaluation process and has changed strictly when a complaint was issued to administration from the physician or ancillary staff. It is the intent of the researcher that an evaluation process of the orientation plan will be implemented to ensure that the plan is meeting the needs of all involved.
