Abstract
The purpose of this project was to research and provide a recommendation for change in the procedures for how union protected clerical employees, also referred to as scheduled employees, are paid. More specifically, what type of employee incentive plan can be initiated at the Burlington Northern Railroad which will provide for the necessary performance incentives for the company to exceed customer requirements while providing for a fair and equitable atmosphere for union protected employees.
