Abstract
Citing a Boise State University study, Grande, Kling, and Bauges state that public boards and commissions in Idaho are comprised of no more than 30% women, a figure which drops to 15% when one examines only boards and commissions that have "stereotypically masculine core functions"--e.g., banking commissions, boards of transportation, and economic development boards. The authors of the present article propose a number of legal reforms to address this disparity.
