Abstract
A lot of people assume that having a limb is better than not in all aspects of life. Well, an assumption is not always correct. Throughout this review and proposal, I reviewed many research articles revolving around how a lower limb prosthesis had an effect on the overall quality of life and psychological effects. In the review, there was some research that showed it indeed have a positive effect but others stated more research is needed in order to have a significant difference. This paper focuses on the functionality, technology, and rehabilitation on amputees and the correlation with quality of life / psychological effects within these factors of amputees.
