Abstract
One of the most influential parts of any team’s dynamics is the relationship between the coach and their athletes. This relationship can impact the performance of the team, in terms of wins and losses, and the culture, in terms of shared beliefs, social values, and norms that impact player behavior on and off the field. The overall goal of this study was to develop a project that would help others gain a better understanding of what has an impact on the coach-athlete relationship, and what influence the coach-athlete relationship has on the performance and team culture. If this study were to be carried out, athletes and coaches will be able to see the impact and importance of the coach-athlete relationship on performance and culture from insights gained from the data. This study may be able to give coaches a better understanding of athlete’s viewpoints on the importance of the relationship and its impacts.
