Prospective Staff Members
The Concordia Law Review seeks highly motivated individuals who have demonstrated academic excellence and an aptitude for strong legal writing. Membership is limited to second- and third-year law students and is the result of a selective process, based both on grades and successful completion of an annual writing competition. The Concordia Law Review strongly encourages all students to participate in the writing competition, which takes place each spring after examinations.
The 2017 writing competition will begin after the completion of the Spring 2017 semester. The competition requires students to prepare an objective memorandum analyzing the merits of a fictional client's case in light of recent federal and state court or administrative agency decisions and perform a technical and substantive edit of a subset of citations.
