This experience took place at Target Field with the Minnesota Twins during an 8 week period. My primary objective being I hoped to leave this fellowship with practical exposure to various aspects of marketing and to learn what key skills I need to be part of the sports industry. Throughout this fellowship, we had guest speakers from different teams, enabling a broad understanding of each department's role within the organization.

During this fellowship, the scholars acquired hands-on experience in several areas, including game operations, event set-up, marketing, social media marketing, and content creation. That exposure allowed for the application of theoretical knowledge gained in academic settings to be applied to real-world scenarios. This experience helped close the gap between knowledge and practical application. Every guest speaker reinforced the importance of collaboration, adaptability, and continuous learning. The sense of family within the Minnesota Twins organization is the root of their success.
